  • The green rows are describing what happened in the past, that means a description of the features implemented
  • The grey rows are the plan for the
    future. The release dates give an
    indication when this feature will be implemented by development.
    There will be a gap between this date and actual reintegration build for the time needed for QA approval and reintegration of the master.
  • The red rows gives an indication where we are behind our original plan

Set GUID as a default value:

Label, Text, Multiline text and Barcode (in text mode) controls accept a string [createGUID()] as a default value. When form is opened for the first time in a Viewer a GUID string is generated and saved as a value of corresponding control.

Silent printing:

It is now possible to print or export to PDF a Snapform file from a command line or batch file without showing Viewer]s UI. [Snapform Viewer.exe] recognizes now following command line parameters:

  • /pt "form path""printer name"
    This command prints the Snapform specified as [form path] to a printer with name [printer name]. If parameter [printer name] is omitted it prints to a default printer. Printer name should be the same as declared in "Printers and Faxesâ".

    pdf "form path""pdf file path"
    This command exports the Snapform specified as [form path] to a PDF file specified as [pdf file path].

    /help and /?
    Show a description message.

Viewer & Designer Functionality Enhanced support for eastern Asian languages: Style sheet can use now not only fixed system fonts but one of 4 logical fonts that are supported by JRE ([Serif], [SansSerif], [Dialog], [Monospaced]). These allow to mix different kinds of fonts (Latin, Chinese, Arabic, etc) in the same input field.
 

UIs of both Viewer and Designer have been improved for running on Asian operating systems.
